Let customers write a product review inside WhatsApp

The Judge.me and Retner integration collects product ratings and written reviews through WhatsApp after an order is delivered. Customers complete the rating and review within WhatsApp, and Retner syncs the feedback to Judge.me. You can collect reviews through a messaging channel while keeping them in your existing review dashboard.

Keep the request and response in one conversation

A puzzle store could ask a customer about a jigsaw after they have had time to assemble it. The customer submits a star rating and review text inside WhatsApp, without needing to switch to an email review request. The conversation provides a direct route for sharing their experience.

Bring WhatsApp feedback into your store’s reviews

Retner sends the submitted review to Judge.me automatically, so you do not need to copy the customer’s reply into a separate review record. You can manage the feedback in Judge.me and display it through your store’s review widgets.

How the integration works

Connect the apps in Retner using your Judge.me private API token and Shopify store URL. Configure the WhatsApp review message template, enable its automation flow and choose the delay after delivery.

The flow starts when the order is marked Delivered in Shopify. After the configured delay, Retner sends the request, collects the rating and written response, then syncs the review to Judge.me. Delivery status matters: a fulfilled order is not the same trigger as an order marked Delivered.

Before you connect

• Shopify: install both apps and make sure delivery status reaches the order.

• Judge.me: the Free plan supports this integration.

• Retner: the WhatsApp Only package includes customer review and rating collection. Review its current package and messaging charges before enabling the flow.

• WhatsApp setup: configure your Retner messaging account and submit the review-request template.

• Activation: enable the review flow, select the template and save the delay. Connecting the accounts alone does not start the messages.

Get started

Already using both apps? Connect Judge.me, configure the review template and enable the flow. Test with an order marked Delivered and check the configured delay. Submit a rating and review in WhatsApp, then confirm that the feedback appears in Judge.me and displays as expected on the product page.

New to either app? Install Judge.me and Retner, configure your WhatsApp account and choose the review-collection package. Set up the connection and delivery-based flow before testing the full request-to-review journey.
