Judge.me and Meta integration: illustration of eligible product reviews shared with Facebook and Instagram Shop listings.

Give Meta shoppers feedback about the product they are viewing

The Judge.me and Meta integration sends eligible product reviews to Meta for display on Facebook and Instagram Shop listings. Judge.me prepares the review feed, and Meta processes it and returns a connection status. For an eligible US store, this can bring existing product experience to shoppers browsing its social-commerce catalog.

Support a product listing with existing feedback

A homeware store listing an ice bucket in its Meta shops can make the product’s written reviews available alongside that listing. Shoppers can assess feedback about the item in the place where they discover it, rather than needing to find the same review on the store’s website first.

Meta decides whether the store and reviews qualify and how feedback is displayed. A submitted feed does not by itself mean reviews are visible on the listing.

Keep product ratings separate from social posts

Syndication adds eligible feedback to Shop product listings. It does not create a Facebook feed post or Instagram caption. Use Judge.me’s separate social-sharing feature when you want to turn a particular review into a post for followers.

This distinction also changes review selection. Meta syndication includes all eligible product reviews regardless of whether they are published, hidden or archived in Judge.me; your storefront moderation state is not a filter for this feed.

How the integration works

Enable Meta review syndication in Judge.me and save the setting. Judge.me submits a product-review feed, Meta evaluates it, and the integration shows whether it is submitted, connected or unable to sync because of store eligibility or identification issues.

Allow up to two weeks for the initial reviews to appear. After connection, inspect the actual product listings as well as the status: Meta controls the destination display.

Before you connect

  • Judge.me: Awesome is required, and this review-syndication connection is available to US stores only.

  • Meta shops: have an eligible Facebook or Instagram Shop and its product catalog set up. For Shopify’s channel, use an accessible online store, a published Facebook Page and the required business-portfolio access.

  • Instagram commerce: a professional Instagram account needs to be associated with your business’s Facebook Page.

  • Eligible feedback: the feed excludes rating-only reviews, store reviews and AliExpress imports. Submitted reviews must meet Meta’s requirements.

  • Review status: eligible hidden and archived product reviews are included. You cannot selectively remove a review from Meta through Judge.me.

  • Disconnection: disabling syndication deletes the feed on Judge.me’s side. It does not make an immediate removal call to Meta; any removal depends on Meta reprocessing the feed.

Get started

Already using Judge.me and Meta shops? Check your store’s eligibility and catalog, enable syndication and inspect the returned status. Once connected, compare a product listing with its eligible source feedback.

New to the connection? Install Judge.me, choose Awesome and complete your Meta shop setup. Check the review types and moderation implications before submitting the feed. Include hidden or archived eligible feedback in that check, since a storefront visibility choice does not exclude it from Meta’s feed.
