Judge.me and Gameball integration: illustration of a birdhouse photo review connected to a reward card inside a phone.

Build reward campaigns around the reviews customers share

The Judge.me and Gameball integration turns submitted product reviews into events for your loyalty campaigns. Use the review event to reward participation, build product-specific challenges or recognise customers who include a photo with their feedback.

Make reviews part of a reward challenge

Set up a campaign based on the Judge.me review event. A garden store could reward customers for reviewing a birdhouse, or configure a challenge around a chosen number of reviews. Gameball uses your campaign conditions to decide when the challenge is complete and points are earned.

Encourage shoppers to share product photos

The review event includes whether a review contains pictures. Use that condition to create a photo-review campaign, including a higher reward for photo reviews than text-only feedback if that suits your program. A birdhouse photographed in a customer’s garden can help future shoppers see it in use.

How the integration works

Enable Gameball in Judge.me and connect the apps using your private API token. Verify the key in Gameball, add the review event and create a reward campaign using “review_judgeme”.

Choose the event conditions and reward. For a photo-review campaign, require the review to include a picture. Check the campaign settings before activating rewards so the event and completion rule match the activity you want to recognise.

Before you connect

  • Judge.me: Awesome is required.

  • Gameball: a paid Shopify plan is required; review rewards are available on Starter and higher tiers.

  • Campaign setup: connecting the apps supplies the event; create a reward campaign to define when points are earned.

  • Photo reviews: the event’s picture indicator lets you identify reviews that include an image. A photo reward needs that condition in the campaign.

  • Product targeting: the event includes product information, allowing a challenge to focus on a particular product.
