Carry customer feedback from the product grid to the product page

The Judge.me and EComposer integration adds product ratings and reviews to your custom Shopify pages. Show star ratings on collection cards to help shoppers compare products, then place the Review Widget on the product page so they can read the experiences behind the stars.

Make ratings part of browsing a collection

Enable Judge.me as the review provider for an EComposer product grid. Ratings appear with the product cards, giving shoppers review context before they open each item. This uses the grid’s third-party rating setting, separate from adding a review element to a product page.

Let shoppers read the detail beside your product story

Use EComposer’s Judge.me Star Rating and Review Widget extensions to place a compact rating near the product name and detailed reviews below the description. The page layout stays in EComposer, while the reviews come from Judge.me.

If you want tapping the rating to scroll to the reviews, EComposer provides a rating-to-review setup guide. That behaviour requires configuration; simply placing the two elements does not create the link.

How the integration works

Install Judge.me and EComposer on the same Shopify store and enable the EComposer app embed for the active theme. Install the Judge.me extensions you need, then drag them into your page. Collection-grid ratings are enabled through the product-card settings.

Judge.me supplies the product’s review content and rating; EComposer renders the chosen elements in your layout. Save and publish your page, then inspect the live storefront because the extensions are not fully displayed inside the editor.

Before you connect

• Plans and platform: the Star Rating Badge and Review Widget are available on Judge.me Free. EComposer’s Free plan includes integrations and one published page or section; higher page limits belong to its paid plans.

• Eligibility: install the appropriate extension and enable the product-grid rating setting where needed. If you change your Shopify theme, enable the EComposer app embed again for that theme.

• Important limits: EComposer offers additional Judge.me extensions, but their Judge.me feature requirements still apply. This page’s basic stars-and-reviews setup does not require those advanced widgets. Check the published product and collection pages, not just the editor preview.
