The Judge.me and Forthcast integration adds product review signals to your inventory planning. Forthcast combines ratings, review counts and review momentum with your Shopify sales and inventory data to adjust replenishment recommendations. Judge.me supplies the customer feedback; Forthcast helps you decide when and how much to reorder.
Give well-reviewed products attention before stock runs low
A homeware store could use feedback on a compost caddy alongside its sales history to plan the next purchase from its supplier. Products with strong ratings and enough review evidence can receive a Hero badge and a higher reorder point. That brings replenishment forward and increases the stock buffer recommended for those items.
Notice review momentum on new products
Forthcast can identify newly launched products receiving a sudden increase in reviews and mark them with a Launch badge. These signals help you spot products that may need closer attention while their sales history is still developing. You can also inspect review trends in a product’s Review History chart.
Avoid tying up too much stock in poorly rated products
For products with an average below 3.5 stars, Forthcast modestly reduces the reorder point. Reviews become another input when you consider your next purchase quantity, alongside the underlying demand forecast. You remain responsible for deciding what to buy.
How the integration works
Connect Judge.me in Forthcast with your private API token and shop domain. After the initial background sync, Forthcast updates the review signals nightly and uses them in its reorder point and safety stock calculations.
A high average alone does not qualify a product as a Hero. Forthcast uses a confidence-adjusted score that accounts for the amount of review evidence, helping avoid strong conclusions from just one or two ratings. Hero and Launch badges appear in the Replenishment table, where relevant products approaching their reorder point receive greater prominence.
These are planning recommendations. The integration does not automatically place purchase orders or change your Shopify inventory counts. Forthcast can prepare draft purchase orders for you to review and send.
Before you connect
Shopify: install both apps on the store whose products you want to plan.
Judge.me: the Free and Awesome plans both support this connection.
Forthcast: a paid subscription is required after its trial.
Existing feedback: products need review data for review-based adjustments. Products without reviews are unaffected by these adjustments.
Update timing: review signals refresh nightly after the initial sync. A newly submitted review will not immediately change the replenishment table.
Ownership: Forthcast develops the integration and controls its scoring and stock recommendations.
Get started
Already using both apps? Connect Judge.me in Forthcast, allow the first sync to finish and inspect a reviewed product in the Replenishment table. Check its review history and any badge or recommendation against the available feedback. Compare a product without reviews too: review-based adjustments should not apply to it. A small number of positive reviews does not guarantee a Hero badge.
New to either app? Install Judge.me and Forthcast, set up your inventory planning and collect product reviews. Then connect the review data and review the resulting replenishment suggestions before making purchasing decisions.
