Bring your Etsy customers’ experience to your Shopify store

The Judge.me and Etsy integration syncs eligible reviews from your Etsy shop into Judge.me. Match your active Etsy listings to Shopify products, then show the feedback in your storefront widgets. New reviews sync every seven days, so you can bring your Etsy product history into your own store and continue adding feedback as it arrives.

Put feedback beside the same product on Shopify

A maker selling a felted-wool trivet on Etsy and Shopify can display its Etsy reviews on the matching Shopify product page. Synced feedback includes the rating, written review, available review images, reviewer name and original review date. Eligible reviews brought through this connection are marked as verified in Judge.me.

This is a connection to your own Etsy shop. It does not import reviews from unrelated sellers or send Shopify reviews back to Etsy.

Choose how each listing’s feedback is used

Use automatic SKU matching when your Etsy and Shopify SKUs agree. If they differ, manually match each Etsy listing to a Shopify product. Manual matching also lets you route a listing’s reviews to store reviews or skip it.

Product reviews can appear in product-specific widgets; store reviews need a store-review display. Featured carousels require you to choose which reviews to feature. This lets you present feedback in the right context instead of treating every imported review as a review of every product.

How the integration works

From Judge.me, authorise access to your Etsy shop, choose a matching method and initiate the sync. Judge.me retrieves active Etsy listings, applies your matching choices and imports eligible written reviews. It can then sync new reviews automatically every seven days, with a manual sync available once every 24 hours.

Automatic matching works at listing level. A matching variant SKU can link the whole Etsy listing; duplicate SKUs can attach it to the first match found. Check your mappings carefully before the first sync.

Later mapping changes affect future reviews only. Already-synced reviews stay in their original placement, and edits or deletions made later on Etsy do not update the copied review in Judge.me.

Before you connect

• Judge.me: the Free plan includes Etsy sync. Install Judge.me on Shopify, then connect Etsy from its settings; no separate Etsy connector app is needed.

• Etsy access: authorise the Etsy shop you manage and choose the listings you want to match.

• Eligible reviews: only reviews with written content from active Etsy listings sync. Rating-only reviews and reviews from inactive, sold-out, draft or expired listings are excluded.

• Matching: use unique, consistent SKUs or confirm each manual mapping. New listings need a match before their reviews can sync.

• Replies and management: Etsy shop replies are not imported. Replies you add in Judge.me stay there. Synced reviews can be moderated, but not edited, moved or deleted in Judge.me.

• Google Shopping: Etsy-synced reviews are excluded from the Google Shopping product-ratings feed, even though this connection marks them verified.

• Disconnecting: previously synced reviews remain in Judge.me. When reconnecting, select manual matching again if you use it; the sync dialog defaults to automatic matching.

Already using Judge.me and Etsy? Connect your shop and check a small set of product matches before initiating the sync. Compare the resulting review source, product placement and storefront display with the original Etsy listing. Check an unmatched or intentionally skipped listing too, and keep duplicate detection enabled if you have previously imported Etsy feedback.

New to Judge.me? Install the app on Shopify and add your review widgets. Authorise Etsy, choose your matching method and review the first sync result before relying on the weekly schedule.
