Judge.me & Dollarback integration

Reward verified email reviews with credit for a future order

The Judge.me and Dollarback integration uses Shopify Flow to turn qualifying product reviews into store credit. A customer reviews a purchase through a Judge.me automated review request email; your workflow then deposits the configured credit into their customer account.

Give feedback a reward customers can spend

A homeware store could thank a customer for reviewing a bread bin with credit towards their next order. Dollarback uses Shopify’s native store-credit balance, so customers can apply that credit at checkout without converting loyalty points into a coupon.

Choose the amount and whether it expires

Set the reward amount in your workflow. You can leave credit without an expiry or set an expiry period that suits your program. An optional customer notification needs its own configuration; the review connection alone is not a complete email or SMS program.

How the integration works

Enable the Shopify Flow integration in Judge.me and Dollarback. Start your workflow with Judge.me’s New review received trigger and use Dollarback’s Deposit Store Credit action for the reward.

The current Judge.me trigger supplies the order ID rather than a customer ID. Retrieve the associated order and customer with Get order data before mapping the credit to the customer. Configure the amount, currency and optional expiry. Check a test run in Flow and the corresponding Dollarback credit log before using the workflow for customers.

Before you connect

• Judge.me: Awesome is required.

• Dollarback: Pro or higher is required for Shopify Flow; the free plan excludes integrations.

• Shopify Flow: install Flow and enable it in both apps. Shopify provides Flow on Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus.

• Qualifying reviews: this use case covers verified reviews from automated Judge.me request emails. Imported reviews and reviews written directly in the storefront widget do not trigger it.

• Spending the reward: enable store credit at checkout. Customers need to sign in through Shopify customer accounts or use Shop Pay to apply their balance.
