Judge.me & Consentmo integration

Include customer reviews in your data-request workflow

The Judge.me and Consentmo integration connects customer data requests with the review information held by Judge.me. It notifies Judge.me of requests, includes matching reviews in supported shopper downloads, and can update reviewer records after a customer corrects their name.

Include reviews in a shopper’s data download

When a shopper verifies their email and requests a download through Consentmo’s Smart Privacy Center, matching Judge.me reviews are included in the export. The merchant also receives an email with the review data. This brings feedback the customer submitted into the same request as their other store data.

Receive review data for Shopify requests

A request made through Shopify’s built-in customer-data process also notifies Judge.me and sends the merchant review data by email. This route does not create a shopper download in Consentmo, so the two request paths serve different workflows.

Keep reviewer records aligned with corrected names

Optionally enable reviewer-name updates when customers correct their name through Edit Profile in the Smart Privacy Center. The correction updates the reviewer record and future reviews. Author names on already-published reviews remain unchanged.

How the integration works

Install both apps on the same Shopify store. In Consentmo, connect Judge.me with your private API token, enable the integration, test the connection and save it.

Choose whether to enable reviewer-name updates. Consentmo then notifies Judge.me when the supported request arrives. Downloads through the Smart Privacy Center include reviews matched to the customer’s verified email; Shopify’s built-in request route sends the merchant an email instead.

Before you connect

• Judge.me: the connection works on Free and Awesome.

• Consentmo: the integration requires Standard, Plus or Enterprise. Smart Privacy Center is currently an Enterprise feature, including its shopper downloads and Edit Profile requests.

• Review matching: shopper downloads include reviews associated with the verified email address.

• Name changes: updating a reviewer record does not rewrite author names on published reviews.

• Storefront: this connection handles data requests; it does not change your review widget’s appearance.
