Put customer feedback alongside the final purchase decision

The Judge.me and Checkout Plus integration brings product reviews and ratings into Shopify checkout. Use a dedicated review block, show ratings beside products in the cart or add stars to an upsell offer. Judge.me remains your review collection tool, while Checkout Plus presents the feedback during checkout.

Keep product feedback close to the order

A cookware store could show reviews near the order summary, helping a shopper assess customer experiences before completing a casserole-pot purchase. The Benefits & Reviews block provides a dedicated space for feedback. For a lighter display, Line Item Content can show ratings for products already in the cart.

Give upsell offers more context

If you offer an additional product at checkout, its review stars can sit beside the offer. Someone considering a second item can see its rating at the same time as its product information. The integration contributes customer feedback; your Checkout Plus offer settings determine which product is recommended.

How the integration works

Connect Judge.me from Checkout Plus’s integration settings. The app retrieves your product review data, which you can enable in supported checkout blocks. Configure the review provider and add the selected block to the active Shopify checkout layout.

The connection and the visible block are separate parts of setup. Collect and moderate reviews in Judge.me, and manage the checkout layout in Checkout Plus. Detailed configuration stays in the linked guides.

Before you connect

• Shopify Plus: the checkout placements described here require Shopify Plus, including reviews before the customer completes payment.

• Judge.me: the Free plan supports this integration. Install Judge.me on the same store as Checkout Plus.

• Checkout Plus plan: choose Plus for checkout customizations. Checkout upsell offers require Advanced; choose that tier if ratings on upsells are your intended use.

• Existing feedback: prepare product reviews in Judge.me and choose a block that fits the review experience you want to show.

• App identity: this is Checkout Plus by Plus Apps. It is separate from Qikify Checkout Customizer, formerly Qikify Checkout Plus.

Get started

Already using both apps? Connect Judge.me, enable the review provider and add your chosen block in the checkout editor. Preview an order on desktop and phone. Check that the feedback belongs to the intended product and remains easy to read without crowding the checkout.

New to either app? Confirm Shopify Plus eligibility, install Judge.me and Checkout Plus, and select the partner plan for review blocks or upsells. Start with one clear review placement and check it before adding more checkout content.
