Email-review events → targeted mobile push notifications

Respond to product feedback through your mobile app
The Judge.me and Appify Your Store integration uses Shopify Flow to send mobile push notifications after customers review a product through a Judge.me request email. Use the review rating to choose the next message, from a simple thank-you to an invitation to speak with support. Judge.me supplies the review event, Flow applies your conditions and Appify delivers the notification.
Give customers a route to help after disappointing feedback
A kitchenware store could respond to a low rating on a bread bag with a message inviting the customer to contact its support team. The notification opens a path to a conversation while the feedback is fresh. Your team still needs to handle the customer’s concern; the integration does not resolve it automatically.
Acknowledge feedback with a relevant follow-up
Create a separate branch for a thank-you message and choose the rating ranges that fit your follow-up process. For example, one branch could invite support contact for one- and two-star reviews, while another acknowledges the remaining ratings. These conditions choose the notification sent to the customer; they do not change or hide the review.
How the integration works
Install Judge.me, Appify Your Store and Shopify Flow on the same store. Enable the Judge.me connection to Flow, use the New review received trigger and add rating conditions. For each branch, configure Appify’s action to send a push notification to the customer.
The Judge.me trigger fires for reviews submitted through its request emails. Reviews written directly in a website widget do not trigger this workflow. The event includes the order ID, but not the Shopify customer ID. Where the notification action needs customer information, use Flow’s Get order data step to retrieve the associated order and customer before configuring the recipient.
Save and activate the workflow after testing its conditions, recipient and message. This connection follows up an existing review; it does not collect a new review inside the notification or display a review widget in the app.
Before you connect
Judge.me: Awesome is required, with the Shopify Flow integration enabled.
Appify: configure your mobile app and customer push notifications. Its current All-in-One offering is free to install with usage charges for automated notifications and campaign pushes.
Shopify Flow: install Flow on a supported Shopify plan. Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus support the app.
Customer permission: the customer must have opted in to receive push notifications. A submitted review alone does not grant notification permission.
Recipient mapping: check the order-to-customer lookup and the Appify recipient fields in your workflow.
Message choices: keep support invitations and thank-you messages accurate for the rating branch that sends them.
Get started
Already using the apps? Create the rating branches and send a test review through a Judge.me request email. Check the Flow run, the selected customer and the notification received in Appify’s mobile experience before enabling the workflow for customers. Test both rating branches, including the boundary rating, and confirm that a customer without push permission does not receive a notification.
New to either app? Install Judge.me and Appify, configure your mobile app and push permissions, then add Shopify Flow. Choose Awesome and set up the review event, customer lookup and notification actions before testing.
